You can’t even comprehend what was under that carpet!! I wish I had taken some shots of it. It was like 3 layers of weird tile and something akin to roofing material. Super weird, but what a relief that it’s gone! Check the progress!!

Well, some of you know me and some of you may have only heard of me so allow me to (re)introduce myself…. I’m Sam Sumner, Jaci’s husband. Nice to meet you! I’m here at Gloss full time now, and I’ve taken over the Gloss Blog! I’ll be filling you in on what we’re up to and all the exciting news that comes along. Check out these photos that Jaci took of me today. I know what you’re asking, and yes I edited them myself! I’m learning from the best!! Well, back to work I guess…

Diablos Rojos Restaurant Group hosted a couture fashion show and fundraiser at Milwaukee’s Parisian-inspired establishment, Trocadero, at 1758 N. Water St., on Sunday, March 1st 2009.

Proceeds from the evening benefited Charity Water, a non-profit organization that helps bring clean, safe drinking water to people in developing nations.

The show, is the first in a series of fashion and music events named FLOW (Fashion Lovers Offering Water). All events raise funds for Charity Water.

The list of sponsors and donors includes Aala Reed, SHOP and Neroli Salon and Spa. The show featured designer clothing and jewelry worn by Ford runway models.

Jaci of Gloss was invited to sit VIP with Mary & Liz LeBlanc of SHOP. Jaci (of course) brought her camera to get some awesome shots from the fashion show.
