Gloss throws Bachelorette Portrait Party…
Friday, June 26th, 2009Last Saturday, like we didn’t have enough going on, on our non-wedding Saturday, with the Butterflies in Flight Unveiling, Face painting, savory drinks, and of course the Let’s Play Dress Up photoshoots for the community… we also hosted a Bachelorette Party that evening… It was a BLAST!!!
The girls had so much fun posing all model-esque for me… we even threw in a few Boudoir portraits of each girl…
Ladies, this is a awesome, great idea to be unique for any kind of event with your girlfriends or even a Birthday Party for children.
Lamm&Melissa – E-Shoot…
Thursday, June 25th, 2009Lamm&Melissa have an unbelievably awesome sense of humor. They have been together for 7 years and just can’t get enough of eachother.
I am so excited to photograph their wedding for a very special reason: they are getting married where Sam&I got married 3 years ago at the Paine Art Center in Oshkosh, Wisc. … such a beautiful venue… can’t wait!
Lets Play Dress-Up … was a hit!
Wednesday, June 24th, 2009So as everyone knows (if not then read the blog post below on Let’s Play Dress-Up & Butterflies in Flight) we had an amazing event last Saturday of the unveiling of Butterflies in Flight. As a result, we had a huge turn out of kids in their dress-up clothes, seasonal wear, & mommy/daddy’s clothes… over 25 kids participated in this absolutely free event hosted by Gloss, as part of Butterflies in Flight!!!
Stay tuned… just because this day event is over, doesn’t mean we don’t have BIG plans in celebration of all the children that came out to have fun…
Next month we will be announcing our Best Dressed Contest:
(announced on our Blog & Newsletter)
Our Blog will be hosting a contest where you can VOTE for the Best Dressed. Only 5 contestants will be chosen. The Establishment Salon & SHOP will be assisting us in the decision-making for our top 5 contestants.
1st Place:
A complimentary Signature Session & a framed 8×10 signature portrait ($300 value)
Below are a few Sneak Peeks of some very hilarious costumes, along with other detailing shots… Enjoy.

A huge thank you to Anna Connors – Tinker of the Enchanted Arts who donated her services of facepainting. All the kids got a kick out of her awesome designs. http://www.littlegreenpixie.com/
Another great thanks to the Last Drop for donating amazingly delicious refreshments on that HOT HOT HOT summer day. http://www.lastdrop.com/
And none of this would have been possible if it weren’t for the great artists who painted/ mosaiced 30 butterflies that have been placed all around Shorewood’s business district. Pictured above, is our awesome artist, Mariska, who designed our butterfly. Mariska will be displaying numerous oil and acrylic paintings, including a 22×70 painting at the studio during Milwaukee’s Summer Gallery Night – July 25th 2009. More information will be posted soon on this upcoming event.
Jason & Diane’s E-Session
Wednesday, June 17th, 2009Every time I say their names or type them for that matter I start humming ‘Jack & Diane’ … I know… weird:)
Jason, Diane, & myself had an awesome and bodacious day shooting out at a local park that also had water front which set up the shots for some amazing shooting environments.
All three of us had never seen Lk Michigan looking so blue… and clean… ha. We all agreed that we definitely did not feel like we were in Milwaukee, especially with what a beautiful day we caught…
